Whoa, Battlebots: the Game!

This is a very ambitious game and could work.  I could easily imagine people streaming something like this if there was a multiplayer mode.  It's quite tricky as it stands though.  Your lightweight bot is easily flipped and then it's instantly game over.  The camera's one obvious place for improvement.  The physics is quite janky.  I think it's gonna need a lot of iterative design.  Epic effort.

Thanks! I was definitely fighting with the Godot physics engine a bit for this, eventually I switched to using Jolt but there's definitely some more fine-tuning I still wanted to do. And plenty of additional weapons, hazard, and enemies too.

The custom builder was very thorough, I was wondering how this game was made within two weeks. However, the actual gameplay was a bit painful to play. Perhaps that is just the limitation of playing on a browser, but moving around didn't feel natural.

Thanks for the feedback! It was made in two weeks because I didn't sleep very much. I don't recommend this. I'm now very tired..!

Did you play with the controller? I'd definitely recommend using a controller for the fights. It feels way better than keyboard.

I'm too broke for a controller :(
